Pregnancy

Pregnancy results in unique musculoskeletal stress and nervous system changes on a woman's body as she adapts to accommodate a growing baby. Ensuring proper nerve flow, joint and muscle mobility, and spinal alignment are all important factors in a healthy and comfortable pregnancy and smooth delivery.

How Chiropractic Care Helps During Pregnancy

At Power of Life we take a holistic approach to your health, especially during pregnancy. We treat your entire body (and therefore baby's too!) not just at the site of pain or other symptom.

Our process involves a complimentary consultation which allows us to determine if we can help and are a good fit. If we are not, we will be sure to refer you to the right people. If we both decide you are in the right place, you will then move on to a paid examination.

During this examination process, we will perform a range of orthopedic, neurological, and musculoskeletal tests in order to determine what's all going on. We commit to walking you through the findings so you can create an informed decision.

From here we will create a personalized treatment plan, designed to help you recover naturally. Our treatment approach will include spinal adjustments, adjustments to the joints of the body, muscle work, plus the prescription of rehab exercises and stretches.

We will also look at other lifestyle factors that may be contributing to your problem or holding you back from properly healing.
